Job Description

Venair (www.venair.com) is a leading engineering and manufacturing company of silicone hoses and flexible silicone pieces for the most demanding sectors, such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology and aerospace.

We provide innovative custom solutions according to our customers’ requirements. The Group was established in 1986. Nowadays Venair has 33 sales branches distributed in Europe, Africa, Asia and America, 3 manufacturing centres and employs more than 350 people around the world.

Now, due to our fast international expansion, we are seeking an Operations Specialist for our Sales branch in Singapore.

The main tasks and responsibilities for this role are listed below:

  • Carry out sales quotes
  • Be in charge of purchasing orders from customers
  • Deal with Singaporean customers directly by phone and mail
  • Coordinate with the headquarters in Spain in order to manage shipments, delivery times, prices, problems and so on
  • Manage outstanding customer invoices, and chasing the payment
  • Be in charge of administration issues
  • Prepare and manage Stock shipments within Singapore
  • Production of crimped hose assemblies following all production and quality control protocols
  • Receive goods at the Singapore warehouse and register them in the system (ERP)
  • Orders picking and packing, and oversee the warehouse Stock
  • Help the external sales staff to plan the business trips
  • Other operations and administrative tasks

The essential requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Background: commerce, business administration, economics, social sciences, languages, marketing, customer service or similar are accepted
  • Business software knowledge and experience, including MSOffice, ERP and CRM (SAP experience preferred).
  • English speaker, organized people, willing to take part of an international project
  • Willing to interact and communicate with an international team (Spanish speaking a plus)
  • Experience in managing sales operations and customer service: 1-2 years required
  • People that feel comfortable when working in small teams
