Manage school operations such as budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing, MIS reporting to principals, budget control, accounts payable and accounts receivablesAssist the Financial Reporting team in closing internal and external audits for entitiesFinance business partnering with School Principals and Finance staffWork closely with the management to expedite school finance processesAssist the FP&A team with preparing budgets and forecastsReview finance policies and implement new policies based on the business requirementsThoroughly review MIS reports prepared by the school Senior AccountantsOffer explanations and resolve any audit queries in accordance with the audit planDevelop robust internal controls to reduce high-risk audit observationsEvaluate potential bad debt on receivables with compliance to IFRS 9Review the AR dashboard weekly and work with the schools to implement tactics to facilitate the collectionReview and evaluate registration and re-registration processes and provide recommendations to improve operations
8-10 years of experience within the accounting and finance functionProfessional accounting qualification preferredPreferred experience in the Educational sector Excellent knowledge of IFRS standardsAbility to liaise effectively with business functions and stakeholdersExcellent analytical skillsExemplary communication and interpersonal skills
