This Secondary School for girls provides high quality education for girls from 11 to 19 years old. This is a happy, warm and nurturing community where pupils thrive academically and emotionally.

A recent Ofsted praised the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team for the high aspirations of the school.

The results of the pupils demonstrate that the school is consistently improving, with students achieving higher grades each year at GCSE. The results at GCSE and A Level have consistently placed the school in the top 20% and top 10% of schools nationally.

At this school all students feel highly valued and safe. They display courteous and respectful behaviour towards each other and towards adults. This results in keen attitudes to learning.

This role will be instrumental in providing support and guidance for the Year 12 students, especially the more able.

This vacancy would suit a graduate or a teacher who can tutor in their given field. The successful candidate will have excellent academic qualifications and a degree.

You will need to liaise with external tutors and oversee the tutoring provision. You will supervise students in the learning hub and tutor students in their subjects.

The successful applicant will need to liaise with our early entrants for Oxbridge and medicine and offer support with UCAS and interview preparation. You will also need to mentor students and support with anxieties by providing advice, guidance and follow up.
