An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Social Services & Wellbeing commissioning team, creating three additional posts to strengthen our response to the strategic planning and commissioning of services. The posts are permanent and will complement the existing and well-established roles within the commissioning team.

These posts will play a vital role in shaping and transforming services and will contribute towards our change agenda through the effective strategic planning, development and monitoring of essential social care services, working closely alongside our key partners in provider services, health and the Third Sector.

For each of these roles, you will have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated and enthusiastic, and understand how strategic planning links with operational activity.

In terms of our existing working arrangements, as a team we are all currently working from home, and a new model of working across the council is in development.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
