Job Description


The Office Administrator provides key support to BCC Software’s President, Human Resources, and Finance departments and performs a variety of tasks. The Office Administrator is responsible for administrative duties, Accounts Payable, and supporting the HR function while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Essential Functions:

Administrative

  • Provides support to BCC Software’s President.
  • Organizes travel arrangements.
  • Maintains President’s calendar and coordinates meetings and appointments.
  • Submits and reconciles President’s monthly expense reports.
  • Coordinates company events and activities.

Finance

  • Manages Accounts Payable processes.
  • Receives, reviews, and processes incoming invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
  • Generates Accounts Payable checks bi-weekly.
  • Ensures all invoices and bills are paid timely and accurately.
  • Assists with billing and collections as needed.
  • Back-up for payroll.

Human Resources

  • Updates and maintains Employee Contact List, Organizational Charts, HR SharePoint Page, ADP Homepage and other employee-facing documents and resources.
  • Provides support to the HR Generalist and assists with the daily operations of the department.
  • Assists with HR-related projects and initiatives such as Employee Engagement and Environmental, Social, and Govrernance (ESG).

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of administrative support experience.
  • Experience and a working knowledge of payroll, A/P, and HR.
  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or other related discipline.
  • Strong technical proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
