SAS Global Consultants have been asked by a leading architectural practice to source a Lead Architect for their ever-growing design studio with a huge pipeline of work for the coming years.

This is a permanent job opportunity with the chance of exciting career prospects, working on large complex projects within a talented leadership team and hugely growing architectural practice.

As the Lead Architect you will be responsible for the overall direction and management of the Architectural Design Team.
– You will be creative in your approach to producing complex designs but also strategically make good decisions on behalf of clients’ projects.
– You will need to have a strong knowledge of zoning regulations and building codes, engineering design principles and advanced computer skills with current industry standard CAD, project management, and graphics software.
– The Lead Architect will also provide regular and detailed updates to clients on progress while ensuring their expectations are met.
– Co-ordination and preparation of information for the project brief.
– Lead in the Coordination for the preparation of designs and specifications.
– Integration of different aspects of the design and their interfaces into the overall design.
– Reporting to the client on design matters and seeking approvals.
– Lead the preparation of schedules of inspections, tests, mock ups and samples.

Salary:
SAR 27,000 to 32,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

– Must be fluent in Arabic to compliment the Director of Architecture.
– Must be degree qualified in Architecture with ideally over 10 years’ experience.
– Must have led talented design teams producing high level concept, detailed and schematic designs.
– Worked for Architectural design practices.
– Design Project Managed large/complex building projects.
– Experience working with clients.
– Produced designs based on local building codes and international design standards/principles.
