A diverse and successful Barnet Secondary School are looking to recruit a Computer Science Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a full time position working Monday to Friday. Main Pay Scale salary is available for this role dependent on experience.

This school aims to provide outstanding teaching and learning and consequently in recent years, 90% of their GCSE students achieved A*-C grades and 60% of their A level students achieved A* – B Grades. The school is consistently reported as Good by Ofsted, with some areas considered exceptional. The school has a state of the art building with excellent facilities to maximise learning potential for all students.

The school are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to plan and deliver outstanding lessons to Secondary School aged pupils. The successful candidate will have strong A levels and a good degree in Computer Science or an appropriately related subject. The teacher should be able to evidence their excellent knowledge and use of IT skills and apply this to teaching and learning in Computer Science. Coding experience at GCSE level, in particular Python, or other High Level Language is desirable for this role.

The successful applicant will be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with staff and parents in order to communicate pupils learning and progress.
