Based on Sydney‘s Northern Beaches, Northside Enterprise is a leader in providing best practice and quality service provision in person-centred practice for people with disabilities. Your role will be to lead and evolve Northside into a modern, efficient and expanding organisation that provides the best experience for our service users, their families/carers and our staff who support them. The role

We are going through a growth phase and are looking for an innovative CEO who is passionate about supporting adults with disabilities to grow, learn and flourish. This exciting opportunity will work closely with the Management Committee to guide the organisation to deliver on its key priorities, build a strong management team and help redefine the organisations strategic direction. Responsibilities include:

  • Building on strategy, organisation and culture;
  • Driving change management strategies to ensure growth and sustainability;
  • Maintaining key working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; 
  • Financial management, including fundraising management;
  • Providing effective and efficient management of all functions at Northside; and
  • Liaising with and being responsive to service users and their families/carers. 

The appointment to the CEO position will be for an initial three-year contract. There will be a performance review after the first six-month period, and annually thereafter.

Essential criteria

  • At least 5 years’ experience working at a senior management level; 
  • Demonstrated success in leading organisations to reach their full potential; 
  • Excellent commercial, strategic development and financial management skills; 
  • Strong team leadership skills; and
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills. 

Desirable criteria

  • Previous management experience within the disability services industry.
