About the role
As a member of the Victorian Service team your role primarily requires you to provide high quality technical support and service for customers in a timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction. Utilising your excellent customer service skills, you will easily build professional relationships with clients. Your aim will be to ensure the job is done right the first time and customers can go about their day to day with minimal delay. We really need a Service Technician who likes to think on their feet and has the technical aptitude to understand how to resolve matters as efficiently and effectively as possible. This involves repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and installation/upgrading of associated software in-line with manufacturer specifications. You’ll educate the customer on how to utilise their Klaus Multiparking system safely, so your communication skills need to relate to the level of understanding of the customer. On-call and afternoon shift work is a part of the job however routinely minimal and handsomely rewarded.

As a valued member of the Victorian Service Team, you will be rewarded with a Base Salary dependent upon your experience + Super + a fully maintained vehicle with fuel card + Tools of the Trade including a mobile phone and tablet. This role is highly autonomous, your days are scheduled via head office so all you need to do is go to site and work your magic. Your Manager is solutions focused, leads by example, is approachable and accessible and shows appreciation where it’s deserved. If micromanagement is needed, you’re not the right person for the job.
Skills and experience
- Prior ‘in-field’ technical service experience
- Strong knowledge of automated systems including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic.
- Ability to absorb and clearly communicate technical information
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work autonomously
- The ability to think on your feet and be a real problem solver
- Australian Driver’s license
You will be highly regarded if you also have;
- Tertiary qualifications in Electronic, Electrical and/or mechanical discipline
