We require an experienced and driven designer to work closely with the owners of the Chocolate Destinations Group that welcomes over 1.5 million visitors each year to its tourism venues in Victoria.

Established in Dec 2012 with the development and opening of Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery followed by Chocolateries on the Great Ocean Road in Sept 2016 and in Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula in Dec 2018

The role will be based at Yarra Glen in the beautiful Yarra Valley only 15 minutes from Lilydale. If preferred, some workdays from home are an option.

In an inspiring and stimulating environment, the businesses will rely on your creative experience and design skills to lead, in partnership with the hands-on owners, the design components of all packaging, marketing, and product development initiatives.

You will develop product and packaging designs from concept to completion
Working with a talented team of Chocolatiers and Pastry Chefs, you will help conceptualise a product and then design specific packaging that is to brand
Create innovative approaches to update current packaging where necessary
Manage packaging projects through to finished artwork including final product photography
Communicate with local and overseas suppliers for quoting, sampling and signing off final artwork
Managing all in-house signage to ensure the brand is represented to its best

Our ideal candidate will be

A Senior Graphic Designer/Creative with a minimum five years’ work experience across all mediums from print to online
Experienced in product photography and lifestyle imagery
Happy to work in a fast-paced environment, using our substantial portfolio of design collateral
A self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude, and work well with others
Extremely well organised and have excellent attention to detail
