This local business has been established in Cairns and is a member of Resurfacing Australia, which is a network of independent kitchen and bathroom resurfacers offering the best industry products. Their products are purposely designed by NAPCO, the premium international manufacturer of Resurfacing products. They operate from Palm Cove to Gordonvale and Tablelands

The Role

This position is a full-time salaried position working Monday through to Friday. You will be working autonomously ensuring delivery, preparation, and installation of the products mainly for residential customers. We are looking for a person with spray painting experience not necessary in the same industry.

The duties:

Spraying tough coatings to bench tops, cabinets, and splash back tiles
Changing cabinet handles, hinges and fixings
Install aluminium composite kickboards
Use of hand tools
Supervising a staff member
Handyman tasks such as sanding, drilling, sawing
Use of silicone and other chemicals

Essential skill needed

Handyman skills, experienced in hand tools
Spray painting experience
Open drivers’ licence
Analytical, good problem-solving skills and forward planning skills
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail in all aspects of manufacture and installation
Heightened awareness always to the health and safety policies and procedures
