We are now looking for a Reactive Sports Editor, Video to produce and edit sports video clips, reports and explainers.

About The Role

Conceive, produce, edit and publish quick turnaround sports video clips, reports and explainers for the Guardian’s website, YouTube channel and social media platforms Pitch ideas to the sport desk for unique sport video explainers Autonomously produce and edit sports explainers, subject to reactive news editor approval Identify key sports stories that could work in video and translate those stories for the format in Guardian video style

About You

Keen interest in news and ability to spot important stories and how video can play a part, especially under constraints of copyright restrictions Strong general technical aptitude, with particular skill (and experience of) editing at speed on Adobe Premiere Pro
The ability to enhance the Guardian’s diversity of ideas and perspectives
