The role

We are currently hiring a Production Assistants to join our Production Team in Villawood, Sydney on a short-term contract . This role is 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday with freedom for you to choose between 2 different shifts to work around your needs! The two different shifts you can choose between are 6am – 2:45pm and 2:45pm – 11pm.

Your main responsibilities in this role will include:

Pressing, pouring, filling and hand forming products;
Labelling, wrapping and packing products;
Cleaning and tidying work areas;
Clearly communicating in English with managers and team members;
Assisting with other production related tasks when needed – we work as a team!

In this role you have the chance to become a creator behind our amazing range of body care, skin care and bath bomb products (just like the Turtle Jelly Bomb in the video!)

Our Perfect Match

Our ideal candidate is energetic and positive, with a can-do attitude. This is a physical job, so we are also looking for people who enjoy being hands-on, don’t mind getting a bit messy and are happy to work with lots of plastic-free glitter. You will need to be comfortable lifting and performing manual tasks. We get busy around here, so we are looking for someone who can work well under pressure and is flexible – we are one big team and we want happy people to make happy soap. Practical and applied math skills are required including; weighing, counting, multiplying and subtraction.

Candidates who possess any kind of manufacturing production line experience or food manufacturing experience will be highly regarded, though this experience is not essential as we are happy to give you all the training required to become a star member of our team!
