Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York.

Work Schedule: Day/Eve 8

Work Shift: 7:30-4, flex shifts 6:30, 11:00, 12:30, call required

Purpose: The Operating Room Patient Care Technician (OR PCT) is responsible for services related to operating room patient throughput. The OR PCT performs a wide variety of services related to Operating Room efficiencies such as on time starts and turn over time. The OR PCT is part of the Surgical Services team that collaborates, communicates and promotes patient satisfaction through teamwork. The OR PCT works under the direction of the Surgical Services management. Population served based on scope of services in the department.

Education and Experience Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent.

• PREFER: Two (2) years prior experience as a PCT in a healthcare facility.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements: • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Basic Computer skills.

License, Registration, or Certification Requirements: • Basic Life support (BLS).
