Job Summary:
Katz Media works as an extension of a local broadcast entity (radio or television station) with a focus on selling advertising time. Katz sellers work with national advertising agencies to facilitate the buy-and-sell process of local broadcast advertising time.

This process creates insertion orders from the agency, ordering what television stations, dates, time periods, and programs they want to purchase for their clients.

These orders are processed and managed as the specifics change. The main function of the Operational Specialist is to support the Katz seller in managing the order. Communicating these specifics back and forth between television station and buying agency, while keeping the sales rep included and informed. At the end of the commercial schedules, we reconcile the ordered spots aired correctly.

This is for Katz Television Group, KASO division based in NY.

Responsibilities

Professionally communicates via telephone, video conferencing & email.
Provides administrative support for contract & campaign management.
Supports in customer service, including station & agency requests.
Generates reports related to sales activities including various verification processes of spot & audience deliveries.

Qualifications

Excels in time & task management with the ability to adapt based on priorities & urgencies.
Shows strong attention to detail.
Assumes responsibility & accountability for assignments and tasks.
Exhibits ability to collaborate with others & strong interpersonal skills.
Actively listens; clearly and effectively conveys information; uses professional telephone skills; demonstrates effective business writing skills; shows excellent grasp of grammar.
