Following the Grenfell tragedy, we’ve brought our social housing stock back under local authority control and want to offer our residents a gold-star repair service.

We are building our own talented team with opportunities to develop and learn new skills.

The Role:

We’re now looking for a driver to support our tradespeople.

You’ll carry out drop-offs and pick-ups across the borough and offer practical support with tasks such as rubbish clearance, site cleaning, small demolition works and mixing of plaster and mortar.

It’s a chance to be part of a busy team who take pride their customer service and excellent standard of work.

There’s plenty of opportunity to learn new skills.

About You:

We need someone who is practical, helpful and able to use his or her own initiative.

If you have experience of working in construction, so much the better.

A full driving licence is essential and additional skills such as tipper operating would be ideal.

As you’ll be dealing with residents and the general public on behalf of the borough, you must have good communication skills and a polite and helpful attitude.
