Java Developer

Your role in this team will be to help develop and update web and mobile solutions that help power prosperity not only in Australia, but around the world. The successful candidate be responsible for the delivery of a quality assured product through techniques such as code peer review, unit testing, developing and maintaining automated tests, and other techniques as appropriate.

This role would suit a Java Developer with a ‘self starter’ attitude and ability to make decisions independently while also partnering effectively with a team to deliver against commitments.

Key Knowledge, skills and abilities include:

Excellent knowledge of the Java programming language
Excellent knowledge of the REACT JavaScript library
Experience in DevOps environments
Experience with AWS cloud services or willingness to learn
Familiarity with web-based technologies (Javascript, HTML, CSS)
Knowledge of microservices and SOA based application integrations via APIs (REST, SOAP)
Experience with the Spring Frameworks
Experience with software build processes and tools (e.g. Maven)
