Qualifications & experience

FSS certificate
Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification is desirable.
Minimum 3 years work experience in similar position. The ability to work at a fast pace to keep a busy kitchen moving.
Excellent communication skills.
A passion and drive focused on Asian cuisine

Tasks & responsibilities

Daily stock/cost management
Daily food preparation
Seasonal specials
Supervision of cooks
Able to work weekend shifts and rotating roster. Be creative with a focus to produce quality Japanese/asian food
