We are currently recruiting for a Handyman to join one of our eduction sector sites, based in Toowong.

Your role
Repair and maintain commercial office facilities and demonstrate a can-do easy approach to problem solving. You will be required to undertake the following, however not limited to:

Changing light globes
Adjusting doors and door stops
Replacing wall and floor tiles in bathrooms
Replacing and repairing loose or missing pavers
Mending trip hazards in paths walkways corridors etc
Repairing minor plumbing breakdowns
Replacing carpet tiles
Minor furniture moving or adjusting
Hanging pictures and whiteboards
Patching and painting
Remove/relocation of rubbish offsite
Minor repairs to toilets
Replacing taps and washers
Minor toilet/drain repairs
General maintenance and tasks (as required)

The Successful Candidate:

Have a current QLD Police check and QLD BlueCard (Working with children check) or willing to attain.
Excellent Training and Support Provided
Good personal presentation, verbal and written communication skills and friendly
Friendly Work Environment
Fully vaccinated as per QLD Health Mandate for working in Schools
