About the role

We have an exciting opportunity in our General Insurance team for an experienced lawyer with 5 years plus PQE preferably having acted for insurers and/or Government in personal injury liability claims. Working under the supervision of a highly regarded Partner, the work will cover primarily personal injury, public liability and historical abuse cases.

About you

To complement your strong legal skills, you will be a team player who enjoys problem solving. You will be able to work with minimal supervision, will possess sound judgment, have strong management and organisational skills.

We are seeking a lawyer with:

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong legal technical and drafting skills
A proven track record in delivering excellent client service
The ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
Maturity, initiative and good judgement
Sound experience in negotiation skills and managing litigated matters in the NSW Supreme Court
Confidence in dealing directly with clients
