The Bracken Ridge Tavern is a multi-faceted fast paced venue on Brisbane’s northside. It is an award-winning family owned business, having been named Best Hotel in Qld, Best Retail facility ,  Best Hotel gaming venue (twice) and Best Hotel renovated space (Phoenix)  at the QHA Awards for Excellence; as well as Best Hotel gaming venue in Australia. It is well known for its customer service and atmosphere.

We seek a confident, self-motivated and self-disciplined person with a passion for hospitality. We are offering a industry premium salary package for the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring the guest experience is of a consistent high standard
• Leading and coaching the team
• Ensuring the business is compliant with all industry standards
• Managing a large roster of staff
• Contributing to a culture of care and safety in the business

• Ability to professionally lead a team
• Well Spoken, groomed and polished individual
• Solutions focused with strong operational and financial controls
• Self-motivated with a high attention to detail

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Must have experience in a similar role
• Hands on management style with bar & restaurant service experience
• RMLV / Approved Managers License
• Strong knowledge of industry compliance and OLGR
• Availability to work across a 7-day roster including nights & weekends
• Awareness of best practice marketing strategies and social media
• Strong knowledge of managing a contract security team
• Gaming knowledge including TAB, Keno & Poker Machines
