TEAM DESCRIPTION :

The GFG Consumer Business Team focuses on consumer payment use cases, funds flow and overall user experience on GrabPay. The team’s scope includes working with product managers to plan, prioritize and rollout product launches, providing key inputs in defining funds flow, growth and overall consumer payment strategy, tracking and management of cost of funds, and incubation of ideas for new payments use cases

JOB ROLE PURPOSE AND DIFFERENTIATING FACTORS :

Support Regional Business Owner of consumer payments by assisting on various strategic projects to meet business objectives and continuously improve the performance of use cases across various markets
Support Regional Business Owner in monthly reporting and analysis on business performance

KEY DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking as and when needed
Support on commercial negotiations and discussion with external partners and vendors
Support on launch of new payment use cases across markets
Support on product prioritization exercises through impact analysis and drafting of business cases, where needed
Provide monthly reporting of business and product performance
Coordinate with other functions (e.g. Product, Analytics and BI, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Risk, CE, Finance, etc.) and country teams on various tasks, including product rollouts, business planning and reporting and strategic projects
Support on plans to grow customer base and continuously improve NPS
Support on budgeting process, performance tracking and project execution to meet financial targets

QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or relevant field

Required:

Experience in financial analysis
Basic understanding of payment business
MS Excel or GoogleSheets

Nice to have:

Understanding of payment process, interchange, scheme, card operation is a plus
Experience with financial modeling is a plus
2+ years of experience in Payment, Management Consulting, Banking, or Tech company
4+ years of work experience
MBA or Master Degree is a plus
