Our group is a multi-disciplinary research team focused on developing innovative microfluidics technology for personalized medicine and novel cancer therapeutics. Recent advances in cell therapy shows promising for cancer immunotherapy and the current development has focused on efficient scale-out production of T cells. However, the T cell manufacturing has currently encountered issues of poor cell selection outcomes and low cell yield due to high content of unwanted cells. To overcome these issues, we will develop a high-throughput microfluidic-based system for industry-scale cell purification system for cell therapy. We are seeking candidates to join us in this R&D endeavour. Successful candidate will be part of our team to work on existing projects to develop the microfluidic system for high-throughput cell separation. The system will be promising but challenging for usage in the industrial level at which requires high separation performance and large-scale operation of high concentration of cells and high degree of cell heterogeneity. In this work, you will work on design, fabrication and validation of the microfluidic device for industry scale cell therapy manufacturing.JOB REQUIREMENT
