Job Description

Process Technician

General Duties:

Assures the regularity of the production operations (reactions, distillation, transfers etc..)
Verifying the control panels and control instruments (DCS, alarms, etc.) the process parameters.
To carry out plant areas patrol to ensure orderliness during the shift.
Check and ensure that the documentation record is properly (to inform when any deviation or missing data, wrong data record etc.).
Ensure that the entire operations are following quality, EHS and SOP requirements.
Carry out daily housekeeping and meets the acceptable standard (5S).
To ensure all the routine works is carried out as per instruction.
Collaborates with the Warehouse to pick up materials (raw material and / or process solvents) from delivery areas to the shop floor
To have a positive mindset of continue update himself by take-up of internal or external training for further requirement.
To participate in company activities (TPM, KYT, Near miss and Kaizen etc.).
Set and achieve targets.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least NITEC in Chemical related courses
Must have a good working attitude, good safety and GMP compliance knowledge.
Must be able to perform 3 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Experience in a pharmaceutical or chemical process plant will be an added advantage.
