Job Description

You will be responsible to oversee the design and security of Azure workloads together with a suite of supporting Microsoft technologies like ADFS, DNS & System Center, and then link up via ExpressRoute to Azure to form a hybrid cloud for workload management. Working together with the Infrastructure Architect, you will run the Infrastructure Change Advisory Board, design & review technology proposals submitted by vendors, conduct technology trials with vendors and provide technical consultancy advice to regional ICT Operation teams. Furthermore, you will conduct technology workshops to on-board users and produce design documents for effective hand over infrastructure architectures to Operations teams for successful systems engineering and implementation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems
    or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in application infrastructure architecture capabilities in on-premise and cloud computing
(private cloud or commercial cloud technologies).
• Possess certification in at least 1 of the following Cloud Technology platform (Architecture, Network/Security and/or DevOps)
• Demonstrate breadth and depth of technical expertise in one or more areas of Infrastructure Architecture and Operation Management
   concepts, Cloud Computing, Infrastructure Network and Security, and DevOps Engineering concepts
• Able to provide strategic and technical solutions to determine overall design direction and provide hardware specifications for complex
   technical issues
• Strong project management experience
• Experience of working with technologies such as Nutanix Hyperconverged Architecture & AHV, Azure, MS Active Directory, NAS, cloud
   platforms, technologies and services would be preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
