DD railway line was reborn into a 24-hour TV news channel, into Doctor of Divinity News, that launched on three Nov 2003. Its terrestrial reach is twenty one.6% by space and forty four.9% by population of India.
In 2019, sister channel Doctor of Divinity India become exclusive channel for English News and Current Affairs from Doordarshan. at that time parent body Prasar Bharati’s chief executive officer claimed that Doctor of Divinity News are going to be “100% hindi soon”.
The D D News mobile app for robot and Apple was launched on seven might 2015 by then Minister of knowledge and Broadcasting of India Shri Arun Jaitley. The app aims to instantly communicate news on a 24×7 basis.

2019 में, बहन चैनल डॉक्टर ऑफ डिवाइनिटी इंडिया दूरदर्शन से अंग्रेजी समाचार और करंट अफेयर्स के लिए विशेष चैनल बन गया। उस समय मूल निकाय प्रसार भारती के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी ने दावा किया था कि डॉक्टर ऑफ डिवाइनिटी न्यूज जल्द ही “100% हिंदी” होने जा रहा है।
भारत के तत्कालीन ज्ञान और प्रसारण मंत्री श्री अरुण जेटली द्वारा सात मई 2015 को रोबोट और ऐप्पल के लिए डीडी न्यूज मोबाइल ऐप लॉन्च किया गया था। ऐप का उद्देश्य 24×7 आधार पर समाचारों को तुरंत संप्रेषित करना है।
