Summary
Apple is looking for an Art Director to join the Apple Media Products Content Design team, passionate about supporting the Apple TV App.
The Apple TV App is personalized and expertly curated, so viewers can discover the best of what’s on — including popular streaming services, thousands of films to buy or rent, and original shows and films from Apple TV+. It’s all in one place.
The Video Content Design team conceptualizes and designs the content experience for this platform.
This position is based in Singapore. We are also open to considering candidates from Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Sydney.
Description
The ideal candidate is an expansive thinker, editor, designer, but most of all a storyteller keen on creating breathtaking and engaging experiences within Apple products.

You need to be highly collaborative, believing that extraordinary work happens when you work with other incredibly smart people to get things done, but are also used to navigating these relationships and driving the work with vision when needed.
This role is for a problem solver and visual communicator who wants to have their hands in several things at once; who can deliver designs from concept to implementation. Passion about TV, Movies, and technology is a must, as is the ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing, and deadline-driven production environment.
Key Qualifications

Proven experience in design or creative leadership required. Bonus for experience with content creation for broadcast or entertainment brands.
Proficient across graphic design, photography, motion, illustration and storytelling.
Able to work both independently or with other designers and external creatives to create innovative and meaningful content experiences.
Able to create and curate design systems and brand campaigns across multiple channels.
Sophisticated understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences.
Demonstrated mastery of the Adobe Creative suite.
Able to thrive in ambiguity and conceptualize fresh approaches to campaign executions, finding new ways to craft stories across static, motion, transmedia etc.
Able to act as a cultural guide, exposing unique visual trends and seamlessly applying them to the Apple brand.
Experience collaborating with Creatives, Project Managers, Business Owners and Executives to tackle sophisticated problems with simple solutions.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Web, Graphic, Information, Communication design or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

Portfolio demonstrating perfection in delivering strategic and editorial ideas across digital, social, motion and static.
Clear and concise communication and organizational skills.
Enthusiastic about the Apple brand and relentless in preserving its authenticity.
Proficiency in additional languages will be advantageous.
