The role will report directly to the Studio Principal and have the skills and ability to work independently on all aspects of projects

We are a boutique retail, residential, and commercial design firm in the CBD fringe, seeking a talented and driven Interior Designer with minimum 5 to 7 years local industry experience, to join our small team.

THE ROLE

To work independently and collaboratively within a small office environment
Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers
Prepare creative conceptual design documentation and artist impressions
Production of detail drawings, schedules and specifications

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Interior Design
Proficient in;
AutoCAD
Sketchup & experienced in SU podium render
Adobe creative Suite
MS office package
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent time management skills with ability to meet tight timelines
Able to manage several projects at once
3D artist impression presentations using sketch up and photoshop
Knowledge of BCA building code
Experience in site surveys and measure drawings
Strong local construction knowledge
A strong portfolio of work experience demonstrating ability to follow through on projects from initial design concept to completion

Successful applicant must have current driver’s license and full working rights in Australia

This position is permanent and remuneration will be commensurate with experience and skills of the applicant
