Charity People is delighted to be working with Blueprint for All in their search for a Programme Officer to join their rapidly growing team. Blueprint for All is the new name for the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. Blueprint for All is a social welfare charity that is passionate about ensuring that everyone, irrespective of their race, ethnicity or background, has the opportunity to create their own blueprint for their life. Their high impact programmes work with disadvantaged young people and communities, providing tangible opportunities and support that enables them to thrive, whilst driving systemic change in organisations and society. In the last year the charity has engaged with 2,000 young people in their career programme and resources have been shared with 500 new beneficiaries. The Programme Officer role has come about as a result of the charity’s exponential growth in the last year – the charity as has recently doubled the size of their team to increase their capacity to engage with the community and provide an enhanced experience for their growing pool of beneficiaries.
The role of the Programmes Officer will be to deliver on an assigned portfolio of funded programmes. You will be responsible for delivery on the Building Careers Programme, ensuring that participants receive quality provision, whether working solely or with external delivery partners and consultants, this includes collecting and reviewing beneficiary and partner data. The Programme Officer will create and feed ideas into programmes media posts and will be responsible for creating and compiling quality programmes resources.
This is an exciting time to join the expanding Building Careers Programme team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Programmes Coordinators, the wider programme team and stakeholders to make impactful and meaningful change.
Your duties will include:
- Programme delivery and facilitation
- Delivery and facilitation and session/event reflection and review
- Collecting, processing, and reviewing some programmes data
- Collecting, processing, and reviewing programmes data
- Planning and creating sessions, resources, and programmes content
- Creating copy and preparing data for reporting
- Collaborating with external delivery partners to create programme content and resources
- Creating media and comms content for programmes
We are looking for someone who is personable and has a flexible approach to hit the ground running in a fast-paced role. Ideally, you will have demonstrable programme delivery and facilitation experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable ability to collaborate and work within a team. In addition, you will be competent at relationship and budget management, administration, and events support. Naturally, you’ll be highly organised with excellent time management skills and an effective communicator – both verbally and in writing. Strong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office is essential
