The Land Engineering Agency, as part of the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group, supports various Directorates and Systems Program Offices to ensure successful requirements development, acquisition and in-service support of land materiel. The Agency provides services in engineering, testing, design and development and technical data management. Services are provided across the whole of the Defence Capability Life Cycle.

As a member of the Land Engineering Agency, the Engineer will have a unique opportunity to be part of an engineering and technical team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence capability.

About our Team
The Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) is an integral part of the Department of Defence. This group purchases and maintains military equipment and supplies in the quantities and to the service levels that are required by Defence and approved by Government. Within CASG, the Land Domain acquires and supports designated land systems for the Australian Defence Force.

Our Ideal Candidate
The right person for this role will be an Engineer who is required to engage with stakeholders, investigate systems engineering concepts, deliver and manage systems engineering specifications and resources in support of Defence materiel capability lifecycle.

The Engineer will be accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to their area of responsibility. You will be able to interpret and provide technical advice with the ability to undertake specialist, technical research and analysis, conduct reviews and assessments to support the achievement of technical integrity of land military equipment and systems.
