Understanding trade lifecycle management from trade capture through to confirmation, settlement and financial reporting.

Researching and troubleshooting problems such as: o resolving trade booking issues and cash breaks o P&L variances and valuation issues

Documenting process flows and creating procedure manuals for the functions performed

Engagement in transformation initiatives improving infrastructure and creating efficiency

Reviewing current processes and procedures for improvements, reduce risks and increase controls

Understanding the companies operational risk frameworks and how to identify and mitigate operational risk

Assisting with client service initiatives

Understanding the organizations responsibilities to adhere to regulatory mandates and legal entity rules

Engagement in industry and market change

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

Outstanding academic qualifications; BA required

Motivated self-starter capable of excelling in a fast paced team environment

Strong technical and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task, and adhere to deadlines

Proactive and detail orientated

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and ability to quickly learn internal and common industry applications

Interest in Financial Markets

Series 99 or willingness to sit for required exam
