Your Role and Responsibilities
This role requires a person with strong leadership skills to set clear priorities and vision to drive volunteerism within IBM. This individual will lead the IBM Service Corps team, including scoping projects, managing the pipeline against the budget, ensuring projects are fully vetted and approved. They will support volunteerism in CSR programs that includes sustainability and education. The person will lead the CSR Influencers Network, promote use of the IBM Volunteering portal, manage a sequence campaigns to grow volunteerism, create content for volunteer enablement, as well as working with the CSR Comms leader on stories of impact.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Demonstrated experience leading, growing and managing similar programs in a corporate environment
- Global mindset, with experience leading global initiatives in multiple countries
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, across functions, across cultural, geographic and time zone boundaries
- Proven track record of delivering results
- Exceptional project/program management skills and the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive to completion in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation/presentation
- Passion for social impact and employee engagement
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience collaborating with and guiding technical teams
- Experience in internal communications
