Summary You will serve as the Hopper Fleet Technical Director in NAVCENT Bahrain. You will develop and implement Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) network and communications equipment modernization plans. This position is located within the IT Operations Department of HOPPER INFORMATION SERVICES CENTER. Responsibilities You will support department mission to operate, maintain, safeguard, and sustain currently fielded Information Technology (IT) architecture. You will maintain telecommunication transport circuit configurations. You will interface with service delivery partners and customers as a representative of Hopper Forward Deployed Edge site. You will coordinate the work of the team and be responsible for accuracy and completeness of the team products. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Design, configure, test, and resolve problems with secure telecommunications circuits and TCP/IP computer networks including hardware and software; Utilize, manage, and support network monitoring and management tools while applying network management principles such as Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP); Recommend and verify IT design and configuration standards to ensure compliance with organization’s mission, goals, or objectives.
