The School of Engineering has a vacancy for a Technician based in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department. The post holder will provide professional technical support to the GaNforCS project cleanroom activity. Responsibilities include preparing all materials and equipment as necessary for customers use and ensure area of responsible is kept clean and tidy and be responsible for cleanroom housekeeping, including tidiness and storage of samples and equipment components.
You should have the ability to interact with staff, students and customer and show a willingness to learn and be enthusiastic.
This post is full time, available immediately and is fixed term until 31 October 2022.
Salary: £19,612 – £21,814 per annum (Grade 3)
